Political tensions are rising. Anarchist movements are gaining strength. New forms of art are being born. The hill of Montmartre becomes the center of the world and the cabaret The Black Cat / Le Chat Noir becomes the center of Montmartre itself.
Here, artists and poets gather side by side with wealthy patrons. Bourgeois guests and royal heirs arrive incognito. Secret agents observe from the shadows. And, of course, people fall in love recklessly and passionately.
At The Black Cat, there are no ordinary days. There is always music, laughter, heated debates about paintings and poetry, absinthe, love and freedom. There is always a celebration.
Montmartre is a hill where legends are born.
Take, for example, the story of a mysterious painting. It is said that if a truly talented person looks at it, they will soon become famous across the world. But if the viewer lacks talent… they will be found dead within a few days.
Is this fate at work? Or a carefully planned human scheme? And who benefits from it?

How the game works:
A few days before the event, each player receives an intriguing email. Anticipation is part of the experience. The letter contains a backstory known to all players and tips for creating a memorable character.
At the event, we bring costume accessories and set the mood with atmospheric music. The Murder Mystery Party is guided by an experienced & artistic Game Master, who introduces the story, explains the rules, and assigns roles in a way unique to this game.
Each participant receives a character with personal goals. The only way to achieve them is by talking with other players, negotiating, forming alliances and sometimes betraying them.
