You're not just listening. Your team becomes a merchant family & living through the events that made Amsterdam the richest city in the world. We’ll start in the 14th century & walk the city streets, not just admiring the views but also making bold decisions and earning money along the way.

Gamified tours of Amsterdam — for tourists, families, dates, and team outings
This is not a standard guided tour where someone points
at a building and lists dates you’ll forget five minutes later.
And it’s not just a game with random puzzles.
This is a story you step into.
Every experience is built around an original storyline — whether you’re solving a mystery, uncovering hidden secrets, or chasing clues through the city.
What We Stand For:
- Historically accurate and carefully researched
- Stories shaped by the principles of great cinema
- Gamified experiences that keep both kids and adults fully engaged
You don’t just observe.
You think, decide, solve, and explore.
The city won’t just be something you saw.
It will become part of your inner map.
We’ve created a free Family Guide to Amsterdam —
so there are no “I’m bored” moments on your trip.

Stories you don’t just hear — you live
For over 14 years, we’ve created & led 1000 gamified tours.
Why us?
The history holds up
We study not just what happened, but what it felt like to live through it. Every decision your team makes is grounded in how things actually worked in that era — not simplified, not dressed up for tourists.
A game that earns its place
We draw from board games, RPGs, and escape rooms — but only the mechanics that serve the story. Every assignment moves the narrative forward. Nothing is there just to fill time.
Scripted like a film
Our experiences are built like films — with tension, characters, and a reveal no one sees coming. We don't write games. We write stories that happen to be games.
Say Goodbye to Boring Sightseeing.

FAQ
Most of our city & museum tours are led by a live host. The host runs the story from the first scene to the final reveal — handing out assignments, reading the group, and keeping the game moving. Our Rijksmuseum experience is the exception: it runs through an app, but not the way most self-guided tours do. We recorded an audio story performed by actors — with vivid characters and tasks woven through the museum's collection. Children follow the storyline and end up looking at the exhibits and interiors, not at the screen.
Our tours run in English. If your group needs another language, write to us — we'll let you know what we can arrange.
Each tour page lists the age range it works best for. Our most versatile tour is City Game "Monopoly: The Golden Age of Amsterdam." It holds children and adults in equal measure — a live host and layered game mechanics make 2.5 hours and three centuries of history feel like one. For adult-only groups, we switch on a hardcore mode with deeper historical immersion.
Yes. Most tours are available as private experiences — same story, your schedule, your pace. The host adapts to the group's energy. Book directly through the product page, or contact us and we'll sort it out. One thing to know: Amsterdam City Hall limits outdoor group tours to 14 participants. Groups larger than 14 run as separate teams, each with their own host, starting fifteen minutes apart.
Comfortable shoes, a water bottle, and an umbrella. Everything else — game materials, assignments, props — is provided by the host on the day.
If we cancel — due to weather, low group numbers, or anything on our end — you get a full refund or a transfer to another date, whichever works for you. Scheduled tours require a minimum of three participants; if that isn't reached, we'll let you know two days in advance. If you cancel: 6 or more days before — full refund. 2–5 days before — 50% refund, or transfer to another date. Less than 48 hours before, or no-show — no refund. By that point we've prepared everything for the group.
