What we do
The team behind the story
- Natalia writes the scenarios. She trained in cinematic storytelling at California Institute of the Arts — structure, character, and the moment the room goes quiet.
- Mark leads research, strategy, and marketing. He studied the philosophy of history at Moscow State University — which turns out to be exactly the right background for someone whose job is to make the past make sense and make it gripping.
- Together, we've spent 14 years writing detective scenarios — over 135 of them, from intimate dinner mysteries to city-wide events for hundreds of players.
- Over 400,000 people across three continents have played our games.
- In 2022 we left Russia and rebuilt Questime from scratch. We chose the Netherlands — for the rain, for centuries of history layered into every canal and street corner, and for a country where it's genuinely easy to work and live well.
What makes Questime different
Not an app. Not a box. A host.
Every Questime format comes with a live host who reads the group and drives the story — turning a Thursday into something your team retells on Fridays. (Home Mysteries is the one exception.)
The history is real
Every detail — from Victorian London to 1893 Paris — holds up because we study not just what happened, but what it felt like to live through it.
Scripted like a film
Every scenario has a setup, rising tension, and a reveal no one sees coming. We don't write games. We write stories that happen to be games.
FORMATS. SCENARIOS. PRICING.
ALL IN oNE DOCUMENT.
Stories you don’t just hear. You live!
